Hey all you NEW hillbillies...just realized you might not have any idea what we are talking about. Last year, we hosted a corn roast in the pits after the races on hillbilly night (august 16th). We had a lot of drivers, fans etc. come and join us for some corn that we roasted in a bit pot. We also had a donation pot on the table for those who wanted to donate, all the money went to the special olympics. We can really use the support of all our Stock 4 Hillbillies (and hillbilly families) that night even if only in a very small way. Lets see some new names on this list!

My wife will be coming to help and Sherrie is coming to help as well.
Linda Robb gets my vote for Granny. If she doesn't want to then we can ask Sherrie. If the truck has a bench in the back then we should have 4 Hillbillies.

Ingrid has plates. So am I bringing the granny outfit? John we have a bench seat removed from our van, will it fit the truck bed? If so how can we get it there I think we are fulled up. Any other ideas? Wonder if Mark has anything kicking around over at their place.... Dennis did not get black duct tape...i got a big roll of good old grey, will that be ok for Randy's sharp edges. I have been searching for our white shoe polish....so far no luck. Linda would make an awesome granny. I will bring dead animals to hang on the truck if i can find them...i think they are hanging out in the basement with granny's clothes.

I will pick up duct tape and paint to paint the duct tape and the blue stripe on the truck. I guess we will have to figure out the rest tomorrow.

I have duct tape for the sharp edges on the truck. I picked up red tape to put over the blue stripe on the truck. Red in support of the army and a Canadian flag to show our support. I have the white shoe polish as well.

Windshields are kinda necessary. Poor Mark said he could not breath for the wind on the drive home, so he opened his mouth to get some air and swallowed a bug! Something else to pick out of teeth! The truck was awesome and will just get better and better. Thank you John and thank you Randy. There are actually some good shots of us shooting the troops on the tW website. Looks pretty funny with real tanks etc. Guns do not look bad. However Tessa's feature win picture may just have Clark's beat for bad. Shame they could not have taken time to take her individual. I think we will do some compaining and have her go down for another, that was pathetic. Have not heard from Vivian regarding the ones she took of the presentations.

I should not have parked so close to Tessa and the photographer would not have done that. I wanted to get between Tessa and the wall but that gap narrowed to about a foot. I didn't want to scratch my truck so I parked behind instead. The photographer must have thought the truck was to be in the picture.
Clark's picture looks pretty standard. He has glasses like the Chinese sailor that came to Gilligan's Island in the submarine. Arniey has no nose or eyes and everyone else has no facial features. The only differnce I see is that Chris has become a cyclops. Looks like a standard picture to me.
It is also the only picture of Clark in the winner's circle. Funny how the other classes can get as many as 6 pictures, the Stock 4's get 2 or 3 and Clark gets 1. Are the others buying pictures so the photographer takes more? It can't be just the Stock 4's that notice how bad the pictures are, can it?

Wow, that photographer just continues to set lower and lower standards. They weren't even going to let me do a victory lap on saturday night, she just stood there with the stuff and I said umm, do I get to hold the flag during my victory lap? And she rolled her eyes and handed it to me.
They were probably really resentful of us on Saturday because we brought Vivian in to take our pictures. Go vivian!

Funny Story :D
I took the big torch back to Princess Auto and exchanged it. I brought my propane tank with me to test the torch as the store is about a 40 minute drive from home. The replacement did not work any better. I tried a 3rd one and no luck.
The package shows the torch with a nice blue flame. The box says "works with 10, 20 or 40 pound propane tanks". Note: the key word is "OR", not "AND". Inside the sealed package there is a sealed bag. Inside the sealed bag is the instruction booklet. Buried on page 4 of the booklet in small print it says "Will function from 17 to 171 psi. Use only 20 or 40 pound propane tank. For best results use a 40 pound propane tank".
That will teach me to leave my x-ray goggles at home! :)

This coming weekend will be the final time for sales for the year. Sales on the average have been good. There is not many shirts left, hopefully we can get rid of some this weekend with other drivers and fans from other tracks.
I would like to a BIG THANK YOU to the athletes and the parents who helped out in the shack, and to the Stewart clan for their help and support. It has been a pleasure working with y'al and hope to see you next season.
Can't forget to thank the Robb's for the tremendous effort put into getting the shack, signs and windchimes,.Give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done.
Arniey aka big hoss.
