Well done flying around the track last night, easier on the heart. Congrats!!

You bet its easier on the heart...well kind of, except when you try to make it from the pits to the infield for a picture and the silly girl continues to "race" for her victory lap! Whew.... we definately need to address the need for a "shuttle" from the pit area to the infield for pictures. Maybe the clean up truck could take people down that wanted to go, then people could find their own way back.

I thought the stock 4 feature was great except for the slow arse #19 clogging up the track

thanks guys :) It sure was easier on my shoulders, neck, etc. this week as well.
We definitely should try and figure out some kind of shuttle- the cleanup truck, or the pace truck (when we had a pace truck) would have been perfect- the cleanup truck has to do a lap anyways, and the pace truck has to bring out the next race, so either would work just fine. It's dangerous for people to be running around in the dark and stuff- they could totally fall in a hole, tear all of the tendons and ligaments out of their ankle and spend the next like 6 months on crutches, with an aircast, driving with the wrong foot to physiotherapy 3x a week!

haha usually everyone does jonny , it just trades better when its still tacky :D
there is no shame in keeping up the paint on your car jonny the cleaner it is the better your chances for a possible sponsor to approach you. The same goes with your driving habits keep them clean an consistant. you will stand out just as much as the one getting the checker flag.
The little things make a big difference ;)

As far as things being a little rough on Saturday and the more than usual lack of intelligence displayed from the starter's stand, I suspect the occupants of the starter's stand are suffering from selective vision.
Now, on to a more controversial subject, where did the wings go in the picture of the Golf in victory lane posted by ministock19? Did anyone else notice that this is not a picture from July 19th? I see a conspiracy here.

Note that the real picture from July 19 has the wings behind the rear windows. Why didn't ministock19 post this picture? What cheating part do they have hidden behind the window net that they do not want us to see?
Quick, somebody call Jethro Bodine "Secret Agent Double Naught Zero".

Well John,be careful what you ask for.It just so happens that we do in fact have Jethro investigating the situation for us and I fully expect that the results of this investigation will be posted here shortly

Come on now, I've read the rules and nowhere is there a rule about maximum wing size. That car is definitely legal.

Isn't that Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s turn one "friggin' scoreboard"?
Now if Tessy-Mae could just perfect her landings!

If you Google "dale earnhardt jr "frigging scoreboard"" you will see how he feels about Varney's new scoreboards.
From ESPN:
The two were at their best over the final laps on Sunday. Earnhardt desperately wanted Eury to tell him whether to race against Jamie McMurray and other drivers coming up on him or continue to conserve gas.
Eury was so quiet that Earnhardt finally said, "You don't want to tell me."
"He was like, 'Ooohhh, I don't know. 10-4,'" Earnhardt recalled with a laugh. I was, 'What the hell does 10-4 mean?' He didn't have an answer. He's like: 'I don't know what to tell you, man.'
"I said, 'Well, who's leading?' They took the frigging scoreboard down, and you can't see who is leading -- I can't read that thing [new high tech scoreboard] in the middle. I'm like, 'Well, hell, I don't know who is leading.'"
Eury finally informed Earnhardt he was leading.
With any luck Dale Jr. may actually read this thread as a member of his pit crew was emailed the link to it yesterday. This was so Dale Jr. could see the picture that Jethro took of Dale's "frigging scoreboard"! Good thing it wasn't a picture of Billy Hill with his new number or Dale Jr. would want to change his!

and here I thought you called it Dale jr`s scoreboard because it looks like all the positions are #88

I never clued into the "88"'s. I might have if my I.Q. was as high as 8.
I wonder if Jethro Bodine - Secret Agent Double Naught Zero could find out if there is power to the scoreboard yet? If there is then I have to go up early on Saturday to finish hooking it up.

Jethro is probably hanging around over there looking for more "clues" so I will get him to ask the powers that be about the powers that aint. BTW very good scoreboard story :) Dale Jr. could come & race at Varney if he misses the board!
