Ingrid has created (painted) another 65 or so hillbilly hats for us to sell. We were out of our most popular sizes so that is excellent!

We hope to have real actual walls on the hillbilly shack for next weekend compliments of Mark Robb which will be amazing.

Jacob has looked after having our Hillbilly Racing bumper stickers created, and handed them out this week. They look GREAT, thank you Jacob!

Nelson of creative imaging has created and donated 2 large posters of the Bravehearts to hang in the shack and they are also amazing!

We have also purchased hillbillyracing.ca which will point to the pages on the sapphire-motorsports site that I have done for hillbilly racing. This way we can utilize the same photo gallery and forums as we have been doing. Will let you know when it is "unveiled".

John came up with an innovative way to save the printed tickets left over from the first draw which will save us printing those over again, whew.

The Bravehearts and families have been excellent in showing up to work in the booth, taking full advantage of the opportunity to help with their own fundraising opportunity that we have created.

Carl Edwards was presented with a genuine hillbilly racing straw hat at the Michigan race last weekend and said it was "awesome".

So you old hillbillies WELL DONE AND THANK YOU ALL or Ya'll :D

good job John.
I think a special mention is due to the two pizza gals who went thru the stands this past Saturday selling tickets.

All the winners bought their tickets on Saturday. Two in the stands and one in the pits. It shows how good a job all four of them did selling tickets.
Special thanks also needs to go to my friend Sherrie and her daughter. Without someone else from Bell helping out the grant from Bell would have been $500.00. She was asked to help at the last minute last week as the other two Bell people I had lined up could no longer commit to helping out. By her being there I was able to apply for the team grant. The team has to consist of two Bell employees plus friends and/or family. Sherrie's time plus the hours put in by everyone previously mentioned allowed us to hit the required number of volunteer hours. While each person was just as important as the next it was the second Bell person that allowed us to qualify for the extra $2,000.00. Still, Sherrie's time and my time would not have meant anything were it not for EVERYONE'S efforts.
Sherrie will be up to help more. She and her daughter had alot of fun selling tickets and they will help out in the shack when we are short parents. It won't be every night they come to help as it is a two hour drive for them.

Thank you again to Sherry and Ashley for your help and commitment as well, especially as it was last minute! It's so hard to thank anyone as it always seems we leave someone else out! I thought it was interesting that all the winners were there that night, that said the same thing to me. Well done!!!! I also think we need to thank Doug, he was super in the announcers booth all night telling everyone to get over and buy their tickets for our draw. We had a great response at the hillbilly shack as well, and that is totally thanks to Doug. Thanks as well to those who sold the tickets on their own at work and to family, it all helps in a huge way! It is great to be a part of something that is not only for such a good cause, but also one that involves so many super people.

Money was just flyin in from everywhere! I don't know how many tickets you sold, but I do know that most of the tickets sold for the draw were sold that night! By you and Kelsey-Rose in the stands and Sherry and Ashley in the pits so you all did great! It think the draw made about $500 all together this time. Does Pizza know she is signed up for the forum?
