I can post again! Less than 100 days until racing! (or so Tommy said...)
87 days? I think?

87 days takes us to Friday April 4th. Unforunately we are not racing yet.
BUT . . .
only 40 Days until the Daytona 500!
only 159 Days until the June Michigan Race!
only 222 Days until the August Michigan Race!

We have lots of long weekends but which is the most important?
Jesus dieing or the Easter Bunny, whichever you believe in, resulted in the Easter weekend.
Victoria Day has resulted in the "May two-four" weekend.
Canada becoming a country resulted in the old Dominion Day weekend, now called the Canada Day weekend (also known as Ribfest).
Lord Graves Simcoe or just wanting a long weekend in August resulted in the Civic Holiday weekend.
Taking a day off to celebrate working resulted in the Labour Day weekend and the Jerry Lewis telethon.
Turkey Day resulted in the Thanksgiving weekend.
None of these is the most important long weekend of the year. Our newest long weekend, created so Dalton could win another election, falls on the third weekend of February. This is officially called the Daytona 500 weekend! :) :p :D

Ironically I've always said "Come Hell or high water Daytona is my yearly event". If it isn't fixed by then, the worst case is everyone wears shoes.
