Well well Bud Shootout champ 2008, Jr looked solid all nite. But Smoke will not be far behind good showing by Toyota. Looking very good for C.O.T. if the 500 is as good as what we saw tonite, bring it on! :D

I thought practice was more exciting! It's nice to a Busch get smoked. It was nice to see Jr. win even though I cheer for someone else. Too bad Jr. asked Daytona to take down the billboard that said "Reason No. 88" with a picture of Teresa.

I would come over and perscribe a case for you to get over that nasty cough! But all the roads are closed, so get a picture of jr. and go to bed and get some rest. P.S. you need 24 of the case to get the full effect. GO 88

Holy Crap Clark! You're right. He IS a Stewart fan.
I really thought he had more sense than that. Probably grew up watching wrestling on TV and loved it. Probably thought it was real too! I have to admit that when it comes to Stewart and Busch, I cheer for Stewart to pound the crap out of Busch. Where is Jimmy Spencer when you need him?

Tony Stewart fans have to sit on the floor at the Hesson Hoedown. Oh wait, there is no floor anymore. Boy, are you going to be uncomfortable.

I have 6 satellite receivers. 2 for the broadcast and 4 for Hotpass. We only have four TVs plus the big screen (which the HD adapter never showed up so we may not get the race in HD). This leaves 3 T.V.s for Hotpass. The four drivers are Tubby, oops I mean Tony, Stewart, Jeff "Whiny" Gordon, Dale Jarrett and Kevin Harvick. Jr has to be watched on hotpass as it is his new ride and he is 2 for 2. Jarrett has to be watched as this is his last 500. We could watch Tubby over Whiny but I don't have a wide screen that is oversized enough to fit Tubby's ego or his new wider belly. Good thing they went the COT with the bigger greenhouse. With all the weight he put on he wouldn't have fit in the old car!

there is going to be a whole lotta trash talking when they roll that 20 car into victory lane....................

Yes, Tubby. He seems to have put on alot of weight over the winter. This may appear like the pot calling the kettle black but he is only tubby while I am just plain fat!

The only way that car will get into victory lane is if they roll it there because it won't drive there! And yes there will be trash talking because after the race is over that's all that car will be worth. Now, if it had a good driver . . .

Poor Denny Hamlin. He has a spoiled brat and a temper tantrum throwing baby for teammates.

I have work to do or there will be no Daytona 500. We will have to continue this live tomorrow. I better go find my bucket of mud and practice my slinging!

Here are the Nationwide results for the Daytona race,it would appear that Tony, despite his size, was able to handily win the race.Notice also that 10 of the first eleven are full time cuppers.Lastly, the bratchild teammate finished second for the second straight race.Methinks the Gibbs `yotas are going to be layin a wuppins on yousall tommoree

OK since we all agree that Tony is the greatest driver ever,I will stop the trash talking for now.
On a side note ,look at the sponsor for Denny Hamlins car,as posted in the nationwide results a few posts back.

I don't get it.
Would this company use their initials and go by "HAM"? I went to their website "http://www.hassavocadosfrommexico.com/hassintro.html" and I still don't get it.
What am I missing?

I dont think you are missing anything,I just thought it seemed like a very odd sponsor for a racecar. however,if " BUTT PASTE " can be a car sponsor, then I guess anything goes:

Yes Butt Paste is interesting all rite but hey if you got the money I got the space. Look at it this way if a car and driver can go around with limp #$%* Viagra as a sponser, I guess Butt Paste is not such a stretch.
