Hillbilly night is September 12th. The schedule does not say if it is twin 25's again or not.
The transponders are in and three of the six computers are loaded and ready to go. The antenna will be cut into the track this week and transponders tested. Once that testing is complete the rules regarding transponder placement will be available on the website along with a template to use to make the mounting bracket.
The system will be up and running with a temporary setup for the open test oa April 25th and permanently set up for the "Tech and Tune" on May 2nd and 3rd.
The software is compatible with time trials but the scoreboard can only display the fastest ten cars (positions 1 to 10). It cannot display the lap times.
You could run time trials where whoever gets to the track first gets to practice first!
I understand that the corn cooking pot has gone through preseason testing as well!

John what is needed to wire the tranponders?
I am guessing just a 5 or 10 amp fused batt pos. and a ground wire?

eta: time trials would be cool!

The antenna was installed in the track today and testing was completed. The installation instructions should be ready to be sent to the Web Mistress(?) by the end of the weekend.
