Clark & Thomas did all the work on the truck and donated most of the parts.
The front fenders are trailer fenders Clark bought at Princess Auto.
The wood grain on the doors is MacTac Clark had at home.
The "Keystone Cop" light on the right side is an old light Clark had at home.
The box around the rad was made out of stainless steel.
The "grill" is made of Bar-B-Q grilles!
The roll bar is one Clark had.
The bed is made of wood with a small place for someone to sit to take pictures or videotape the pace laps.
There is an "Oogah" horn that Clark bought at Princess Auto.
The flashers for the lights are from the purple bus.
The headlight "buckets" are stainless steel bowls from No Frills in Mount Forest.
The light bar is off a tow truck in New Jersey.
The rims are from T.H. Custom Auto
The big tires on the back are from Logel's Auto Parts
The small front tires might be from Woodside Tire.
The exhaust has been removed and replaced with a "cherry bomb".
The front bumper has been cut down and everything in the engine compartment that was in the area cut down has been moved. The battery is behind the passenger seat. The air intake is visible on the right side of the truck. The windshield washer reservoir was removed as the windshield can't get dirty!
Best of all, the truck has brakes again as a blown flex line was replaced.
ALL IN ALL, A FANTASTIC JOB!

What an amazing job you are doing! I totally love it!! Well done!!!!!!!!!
Really renews my enthusiasm! This will be a huge hit whereever it goes!!
On another note we now have had 30 all day passes donated by Just Push Play in Creemore, they are great people! Something to put in our draws, or as giveaways.

No, thank you for everything you do. It is my pleasure to finally be able to return a favour. Maybe we should count it as two favours. The roads were a mess. A pick up truck in the ditch. An SUV in the ditch on its lid. Me completely sideways but managed to save it. An oncoming transport over the yellow line. An oncoming pickup over the yellow line. All that and no change of underwear!

Well, despite the road conditions getting there, the first public showing of the Hillbilly Pace Truck was a big hit! There was certainly a large crowd of people thru the Maplefest this weekend and a lot of exposure was generated for Varney Speedway/Hillbilly Racing/North Wellington Bravehearts.
Many thanks to Clark and Thomas for your brilliant efforts, this truck will be the talk of Varney(and other places) for quite a while!

After driving it around Maplefest, and especially back to the road, it is covered in mud. A windshield would have been nice for Arniey and I!
I think we should clean the mud off the rims and the grill but leave it everywhere else. I alreay cleaned the mud off my face and jacket!
On Sunday the truck was used to drive the promoter around Maplefest at about 35 minute intervals while he used a bullhorn to announce the events. There can't be anyone that was there that did not see or hear the truck! :)
Ahooga! Ahooga!

john I think it was a fitting tribute for the first outing for the truck.
sure you've heard the old toast or salute "here's to mud in your eye"
also a big THANK YOU and job well done to the hood painter.

Well I went on the cold day, brrrrrrrrrrrrrr but Sunday looked just great! I know Pizza and Cheeze Whiz had a great time. There was one alarming moment however when the hillbilly truck was highjacked, WITH MY SON ON BOARD! Anyone have any idea who the crazy guy was??

Hijacked? Lewis willing ran to the truck everytime it moved! Even with the loud "Ahooga" horn he rode shotgun about 8 times! I don't think that can be categorized as hijacking.
The handsome dude driving looks familiar but I just can't put my finger on who it is.
