In the "Snowball 2" held at MIS yesterday clark Hartman finished 2nd driving a Dodge! He finished behind the most experienced person at MIS.

We will have to wait for the press release! It will probably come from Michigan International Speedway but will be posted on the Varney International Speedway site along with others. It should even make Jayski!
Here is another picture from our trip. In the upper hall of the administration building, where the executive offices are, you will find a large poster of each of the race winners from the previous year. Here is Fatso standing beside the picture of Johnny Benson. Johnny Benson is one of Fatso's all time favourite NASCAR drivers.

Jayne, I forgot to tell you that Carl Edwards will send you the picture you asked for. It is not a problem. They really appreciated the hats and the DVDs. One of the directors at MIS loves straw hats and it will get good use. Hopefully Jack won't try to confiscate Carl's hat. Hillbilly Racing is now just like Varney International Speedway - international!

Hey john got some info on those transponders

From what ive heard there $$$$$$$$$$$ but if one can make a simple transponder and a receiver an some basic software it would work.

I figure a swing out arm with a receiver wire would work it doesnt "seem" that hard to do

It was a very good trip to Michigan on Wednesday.The 2 scoring towers are now laying on the ground and just waiting for the truck to go down and pick them up.Friendliest people in the world down there.I think Ken had quite an eye opener.

To get a perspective of the size of these signs, the little guy on the right is Ken. The Goodyear sign is the top of the pylon that rotates. It is 8 feet high and 8 feet across. The portion being lowered is nearly 6,000 pounds. The goodyear piece is 600 pounds.
